Clever minds and the development new technologies have given us the opportunity to use this plastic – specifically, drinks bottles – to reuse. For this purpose, they are collected, cleaned, melted down and processed into a yarn. This yarn can be wonderfully sewn and used to create something completely new..

We have already taken the first step – the Limited edition of The Little Prince already uses this Fabrics of the Future. Now we should aim to equip further models with new materials as well. We accompany your happiness for us, it goes much further than just offering you a comfortable pushchair.

But the best is yet to come. All materials of the future are made of of the highest quality and free from harmful substances. Through the thorough cleaning and high temperatures during production, your happiness is in safe hands. As we mainly use these fabrics for the outer materials of the pushchairs, they are of course also specially coated at the required areas, in order to guarantee durability.

The exact process

Are you interested in the exact process? Then we are happy to go into detail:

• · The manufacturers collect drink bottles on the water or on beaches insert and remove labels and lids.
• · After that, these bottles are thoroughly cleaned and processed into small flakes.
• · These flakes are then melted and filtered to ensure that no impurities remain.
• · Subsequently, the Plastic material processed into granulate.
• · The granulate is melted once again and pressed through tiny holes. In this way the threads are formed.
• · At the end, the threads are then Weaving or knitting processes for 100% recycled fabrics processed.
