That’s why my junior gives you® to the statutory warranty of 2 years 10-year guarantee on all combination prams, buggies and my junior® Child seats (Valid for all purchases from the 1.4.2022 and only for the initial purchase). If you wish to make use of the guarantee during this period, you can do so as follows:

As my junior® As a pram customer, you benefit from my junior.® Door2Door Repair Service. With this service, we will collect your my junior free of charge.® We will collect the pushchair from your home in the event of a warranty claim or maintenance, and return the repaired/serviced my junior to you.® Pram return. Below you will find the applicable warranty conditions for the purchase of new my junior® Pushchairs & accessories by my junior® GmbH based in Aachen.

1. In accordance with the applicable legislation, all consumers benefit when purchasing a new my junior® Pushchairs (hereinafter referred to as the product) come with a 2-year statutory warranty and an extension to 10-year guarantee.

2. In addition to the statutory warranty mentioned in point 1, my junior also grants® when purchasing a new my junior® Prams, buggies & my junior® Child car seats 10-year guarantee from date of purchase (Applies to all purchases from the 1.4.2022 and only for the first purchase). my junior® guarantees that the purchased product is free from defects in materials and workmanship. These provisions apply to all products purchased within the European Economic Area (EEA) as well as Switzerland.

3. You can find out in detail which defects are covered and which are not from the table under item 10.

4. The guarantee period begins in parallel with the statutory warranty from the date of purchase upon handover of the product by an official my junior® Specialist retailer or my junior® yourself. The start of the warranty period is the date of purchase or delivery. Upon handover of the product, the warranty holder must immediately check the product for defects and report these to the qualified specialist dealer or my junior.® to be reported without delay upon discovery of defects.

5. A prerequisite for claiming under this guarantee is the provision of proof of purchase with the original purchase date showing that the item was bought from a qualified my junior® Dealer or my junior® is present. My Junior No warranty is provided if the product has been used or purchased from an unauthorised reseller. The warranty is not transferable to third parties.

6. If there is a defect covered by this guarantee (see clause 11), my junior may® at its own discretion, remedy the defect itself, have it rectified by a qualified specialist dealer or service centre (rectification), or supply a new product (replacement). In the case of rectification, my junior may® at its own discretion, either repair or replace the defective part. Since my junior® reserves the right to discontinue the production of a model, a spare part, a colour, a fabric, or an accessory; this is the right of my junior®, to provide the customer during the warranty period with a product, a spare part, a colour or a fabric of at least comparable quality as a replacement.

7. The following applies to the execution of the rights specified under item 6:

7.a. Claims under warranty can only be made with qualified my junior® Specialist retailers in the European Economic Area (EEA) as well as Switzerland are covered. If the product is delivered to a region other than the EEA and Switzerland, the warranty cannot be claimed.

7.b. Replaced parts become the property of my junior®.

7.c. For parts installed, painted or repaired as part of rectification, a warranty is provided up to the expiry of the original warranty period of the product. The same applies to any product that has been supplied as a replacement. Rectification or replacement therefore does not entitle the customer to an extension of the warranty period.

7.d. If the product becomes inoperable due to a defect covered by the warranty, the warranty holder is obliged to contact their qualified my junior® Specialist retailer or my junior® to make contact without delay. They will decide whether the necessary work will be carried out on site, in their workshop, or at my junior.® have to be carried out.

7.e. No further claims arise from this guarantee. In particular, the guarantee does not cover any claims for compensation, such as z.B. the provision of a loan pushchair for the duration of the rectification works, nor does it include claims for damages.

7.f. Delivers my junior® due to a warranty claim, my junior may provide a new product® The guarantee holder may demand the return of the defective pram and claim reasonable compensation for the use of the returned product in accordance with the provisions of the German Civil Code on withdrawal pursuant to §§ 346–348 BGB. This usage fee is calculated proportionally to the period of use after the expiry of the two-year warranty period. Such a usage fee may only be charged in Germany. The return of the defective product as well as the delivery of a new product is carried out exclusively to the qualified specialist retailer where the original purchase was made.

8. If the rectification claimed – in compliance with the above Clause 6 – fails, in particular if the same defect cannot be remedied or if further attempts at rectification are unreasonable for the guarantee holder, the guarantee holder may demand from my junior® Request delivery of a defect-free product. Clause 7f applies accordingly.

9. The following table provides detailed insights into defects covered by the "Worry-Free Guarantee". A distinction is made here between hard goods (z.B. Frame, wheels, parking brake, etc.) and fabric parts or accessories (z.B. Zip, press studs, strap etc.).

11. This guarantee does not affect statutory rights, in particular warranty claims against the seller of the product and possible claims under the Product Liability Act against my junior.® GmbH as manufacturer not restricted.

In the following cases, the warranty is excluded:

  • mein Junior® does not provide a warranty if the product was purchased used or from an unauthorised reseller
  • No warranty obligations exist if the defect has arisen because:
  • the product has been improperly handled or overused (z.B. if the permissible total weight has not been observed), or
  • the product previously by the warranty holder or a third party who is not a qualified my junior® has been improperly repaired, improperly maintained, or improperly serviced
  • parts have been installed in the product whose use has not been approved by the manufacturer, or
  • the product in one from my junior® has been altered in an unauthorised manner, or
  • the accessories used are not original my junior® Accessories were, or
  • the guarantee holder has not followed the regulations regarding the operation, treatment and care of the product (see operating instructions).
  • Defects due to natural wear and tear, as well as defects (z.B. Rust, scratches, corrosion), caused by external factors, external environmental influences (z.B. Accident, hail, ice, snow, flooding, high humidity, animals) or due to lack of maintenance and care. See also clause 9.

Other warranty provisions:

As we are constantly working to further develop our products, my junior reserves the right® GmbH reserves the right to alter or discontinue the production of individual models, colour variants, accessories, or fabrics. In the event of a warranty claim, we will replace these with similar spare parts, colours, or accessories. my junior® reserves the right to amend the warranty terms.

What requirements must be met?

  • Your pram/buggy must either be handed in at one of our Flagship or Studio Stores after the 01.04.2024 purchased or in our official online shop https://my-junior.com/en/ must have been ordered.
  • The free my junior® comprehensive insurance steps in if neither your own insurance nor that of the other party involved in the accident applies. For this, we require written confirmation that none of the insurances will cover this damage.
  • In cases of theft, at least aggravated theft must be present. For aggravated theft, the perpetrator must overcome an obstacle and use force – for example, by causing damage to property in order to steal the pram or buggy.
  • A police report in cases of robbery, accident, or theft.
  • There must be no indication of intent or gross negligence.

In which cases does the my junior® comprehensive insurance apply?

  • Damage*In the event of damage to your my junior® pram or buggy, the comprehensive insurance covers the repair costs.
  • Total loss*If your my junior® pram or buggy is a total write-off, it will be replaced with an equivalent my junior® product thanks to the comprehensive insurance.
  • The my junior® comprehensive insurance is valid from the date of purchase https://my-junior.com/en/ or in the my junior® flagship stores, valid for one year. The protection does not apply to second-hand products.
  • When purchasing online, direct registration for the my junior® newsletter is a prerequisite for receiving the fully comprehensive cover.
  • When purchasing in one of our flagship stores, online registration (surname, first name, date of purchase or proof of invoice) is required. You can complete the registration up to three months after your purchase.

Scope of the my junior® comprehensive insurance?

  • Simple theft*, z.B. in front of a shop or in front of a nursery.
  • If applicable, in the event of burglary*, z.B. in stairwells and communal cellars. (Contents insurance only provides cover if doors are closed and prams are locked.)
  • Damage caused by an accident or transport accident*.
  • Vandalism* or robbery*

How do I report an insurance claim?

Please write an email to hello@my-junior.com. This must include your contact details including residential address, email address, telephone number, order number in the case of an online purchase / proof of purchase in the case of a purchase from one of our flagship / studio stores, as well as a description of the incident and the police report.
