Your pushchair in your boot

You are pregnant and still looking for the perfect pram. When choosing your companion for happiness, you pay attention, for example, to the design, comfort, suspension, and ergonomics. Another important point on your list should be whether your dream pram fits in your car boot. This is what we want to address in this guide.

Boot tester

You have chosen a my junior pram and are now wondering whether it will fit in your boot? Use the new my junior boot tester, ...to find out exactly that. With your smartphone, you can easily see and test whether the frame of your preferred pushchair fits in your boot. This way, you can be absolutely sure that your pushchair fits in the boot, and you can see it for yourself straight away.

How big does a car boot need to be for a pram?

To be able to get around with your baby, the pram should fit in the boot of your car. The ADAC (German Automobile Club) has worked out what requirements your car should meet so that a pram will fit in your boot:

  • Interior width in the boot: at least 95 centimetres
  • Height of the boot opening: at least 62 centimetres
  • Boot capacity up to the roof: at least 600 litres
  • Loading sill height: maximum 70 centimetres

With these dimensions, all standard and even larger prams should be able to fit in the car according to the ADAC.
