Important Notice Regarding the Folding Lock on the VITA HOPE

We would like to inform you about a quality initiative concerning the mechanism that prevents the unintentional release of the folding lock on the frame.

With this initiative, we want to ensure the maximum satisfaction of our customers when using our products.

During our quality tests, we discovered that the mechanism to prevent the unintentional release of the folding lock on the frame may be missing from pushchairs of the my junior® VITA Hope model.

What does this mean in practice?

If heavy objects are placed on the strap used for folding the frame, it may trigger the release of the folding mechanism (see fig. 1). If the lock is released due to weight, the handlebar drops downwards. The frame cannot collapse on its own. Until the issue is resolved, please do not place any objects on the strap.

Is my pushchair affected?

Pushchairs shipped from 01.07.2024 onwards are not affected. Pushchairs shipped before 28.06.2024 may be affected.

Please check whether your pushchair is affected by this quality initiative by looking for the absence of a button on the right inside of the frame (viewed from behind), just below the frame lock (see figs. 2 and 3).

My frame is affected, what should I do?

The modification is very simple and can be done conveniently at home in under a minute.
