Special features

Neck support with hood

LUVA features a padded neck support to relieve neck muscles and promote healthy posture. The weather-resistant hood serves as protection from rain or, optionally, as UV 50+ sun protection.

Adjustable web width

The adjustable bridge allows you to individually adapt your comfort to the M-position. To bring the legs and hips into the squat-spread position, the bridge can be adjusted to the width of the hips for an ergonomic body posture.

Stepless height adjustment

The height-adjustable back panel guarantees a rounded, anatomically correct posture and thus relieves the spine. The M-position rounds the back and is stabilised by the back panel. Depending on the size of your little one, you can adjust the height of the back panel to suit your baby.

Instructions

The LUVA baby carrier is recommended as a front carrier from birth up to the fifth month, with your little one facing your heart. Your newborn should be placed in the squat-splay position, with their legs drawn up and spread apart. This ensures their back is naturally rounded and their hips are supported. In this way, you protect your little one from excessive stimuli, both of you feel secure, and your baby perceives only your sounds and scents. This allows you to be as close as possible, and you can immediately sense every communication from your little one.

As soon as your little one reaches the age of 4 months and is already able to hold their head up without difficulty, we recommend the back carry. In this position, your little one adopts the healthy “M” (spread-squat) position, with their back physiologically rounded and their hips supported. The neck support helps to stabilise and maintain this posture. Our midwives recommend this carrying style from the 4th month, as it allows your child to enjoy the view while still experiencing the closeness and security provided by the LUVA baby carrier.

The hip carry is recommended from the 6th month, once your little one can sit up unaided and is therefore able to hold their head up by themselves. Healthy posture is also encouraged with this carrying method using the LUVA baby carrier. Our midwives recommend this carrying option from the 6.Monat, as your happiness can see everything that you perceive and, at the same time, can occasionally look into your familiar face. The shoulder straps distribute the weight and thus prevent one-sided strain for you. This way, you can explore the world together and be as close to each other as possible.

Padded straps

The LUVA baby carrier offers maximum carrying comfort thanks to its especially well-padded straps. These serve your little one as leg cushions, so your baby also benefits from the soft padding. The waist belt is ergonomically shaped to fit the hips, and the shoulder straps distribute the weight, making carrying a pleasant experience for the whole family.

Belt safety system

You can place complete trust in the LUVA baby carrier thanks to its covered safety system. The easy-to-use baby carrier is equipped with a three-point safety system. The safety button on the buckles must be pressed before the buckle can be released. Additionally, a safety strap is attached, through which the buckle is threaded.

Detachable hood

The hood of the LUVA baby carrier can be attached on both sides with a bow and over your little one’s head with a hook on the baby carrier. The rain-repellent fabric of the LUVA baby carrier is gently impregnated, protects your little one, and, thanks to its UV50+ protection, also serves as sun protection.

Simple design

The design of the LUVA baby carrier follows its function. Thus, the multifunctional capability of the baby carrier takes centre stage, offering easy handling, healthy ergonomics, and optimal safety thanks to the safety system. The design is simple and elegant, with light colours and patterns to suit every taste.

Materials of the carrier

The materials of the baby carrier near your child are made from 100% cotton. The soft yet supportive cotton, with its breathable properties, ensures your little one’s temperature is regulated. The outer fabrics of the baby carrier are gently impregnated, making them water- and dirt-repellent.

Mounting options

On the sides of the LUVA baby carrier, there are two different buckles. One is located at the bottom on the waist belt and is used to attach the shoulder straps for smaller babies, to provide even more support for their little backs. The middle buckles on the baby carrier, at the height of your little one’s arms, are for front and back carrying.
