My Junior pram Augmented Reality

14.10.2021, Aachen. Digitalisation is now part of everyday life for all of us. The pram industry is also increasingly engaging with the many digital possibilities in e-commerce. my junior® GmbH has now taken a major step towards an optimised shopping experience by integrating Augmented Reality (AR) in its online shop.

"When it comes to larger and more expensive products – such as a pram – many customers prefer to view the product at a local point of sale," says Managing Director Kamil Nokielski. "Often, product images and descriptions are simply not enough to get a real sense of the pram's dimensions. From now on, we are offering our customers the perfect solution for this."

AR offers the opportunity to project the VITA Unique 2 pram, in all available colours, true to size into, for example, the living room, car, or hallway using a smartphone camera. Customers can even see virtually whether the new pram fits into their car boot when folded.

Although my junior® GmbH also offers customers the chance to test the pram for 100 days, the digital solution is not only much more sustainable, but also a considerable aid in the customer's decision-making process.

"With ARkid, we have found the ideal partner for realising this sustainable and digital progress. We are proud of the collaboration and already look forward to future projects," emphasises Nokielski. The AR function is set to be available for further pram models soon.
