my junior works with recycled PET fabrics for prams

Aachen, 09 November 2022 – Plastic for greater sustainability: entire islands of rubbish are floating in the world’s oceans. This is a problem that affects the climate, the planet, and above all, future generations. my junior is using a new process for the first time, transforming plastic bottles into pollutant-free outer fabrics for prams.

For this process, old plastic bottles are collected, cleaned, melted down and processed into yarn. This yarn is then sewn and integrated into the products. The new colours VITA Hope Orca Black, Dolphin Grey and Pine Green as well as the special edition Little Prince are the first whose outer fabrics are made entirely from recycled PET. These fabrics are specially coated where necessary to guarantee durability. All PET fabrics are of the highest quality and free from harmful substances. Thanks to thorough cleaning and high temperatures during production, little ones are placed in a safe environment.

About my junior

The journey of my junior began in 2015 when Managing Director and father Kamil Nokielski set out to find the perfect pram. He was dissatisfied with the selection available at the time and described the search for the perfect pram as a “pram jungle”. While still at university, he founded my junior with the aim of developing a product that would leave nothing to be desired for expectant parents searching for a pram. The range now includes five different pram models and one buggy model. In addition to prams, my junior offers a wide variety of accessories for everyday life with a baby. The product range is regularly expanded and optimised according to customer wishes, together with parents and pram experts. my junior prams are mainly produced in Europe and are already available worldwide.
